Week 4 Soothing Repetition...

I had a super hard time with week 4 of project 52. Week 4 was soothing repetition. One of my friends suggested lining up a bunch of Preparation H bottles and taking a pic of them which i thought was hilarious. But i wasnt trying to think so literal which i think made it so hard for me. My first idea was massage. I took pictures of me massaging my friends back and lowered the shutter speed on my camera so my hands looked like they were moving. I thought it was a great idea but what was in my head did not come out in my photos. Im not even going to show you an example of what i took b/c i do not like them at all haha.
Then i thought about music and kind of stuck w/ that idea. this is the picure i ended up submitting for week 4:
This is my friend Steven playing his guitar. I did kind of get literal with this, the strings are the repetition and the music is whats soothing. But at the same point i love music. no matter what mood im in i can find a song that fits it. I also just love listening to someone play the guitar which in turn makes me want to learn to play which i dont know when that will ever happen at this point in time. im too busy!! haha
This was also a picture i thought about submitting. I was at the palladium in Carmel, IN which is a new performing arts center for symphonies, dance, theater ect. My friend Sarah designed the The Great American Songbook exhibit there and its AWESOME! she is such a talented artist and did a great job with the exhibit.
This is a picture of a boy listening to a local high school orchestra perform. I thought it was so sweet how into the music he was and i had to capture the moment.
I also took pictures of records playing too b/c there is something about listening to a record that is so timeless.
So i guess this is how i interpreted soothing repetition: through music. I was in a photo funk but i really think music this week got me through it.
